土地の産業のアイデンティティを顕在化し伝えるエキシビジョンブースのデザイン。
異なる素材、異なる技術、そしてそこから生まれる多種多様な製品たち。その土地のそれぞれの作り手から生まれてくるものの特徴は様々ですが、その土地全体の産業のアイデンティティを顕在化し、それを背景の上に映し出されれることで、それらの産業は群の魅力を携え、より強く伝わり始めます。
和歌山という土地の産業には、熊野地方を中心に根付く自然崇拝を根幹とし、長く自然素材に対峙し、敬意を示しながら、そこに先端技術や知恵を融合させることで、日常生活の基準値をじわりと底上げしてくれる道具を生み出す力が、アイデンティティとして脈々と沁み渡っています。
和歌山特有の荘厳な自然を体現するインスタレーションと、その周りに整然と並ぶ製品群によってそれらを顕在化することで、この土地の産業のアイデンティティーと世界の人々との強い繋がりを生む空間を作り出しました。
It is an exhibition booth that reveals and conveys the identity of the local industry.
Different materials, different techniques, and the wide variety of products that emerge from them. The characteristics of what comes out of each of the makers of the land vary, but the identity of the industries of the land is made manifest. By projecting it out over the background, those industries begin to carry with them the charm of the group and convey it more strongly.
The industries of the land of Wakayama have long been rooted in the worship of nature, rooted mainly in the Kumano region, and have long confronted natural materials. While showing respect, the ability to create tools that gradually raise the standard of daily life by fusing cutting-edge technology and wisdom into it has sunk deeply into its identity.
The installation embodies the majestic nature unique to Wakayama, and the products that neatly line up around the installation reveal this nature, creating a space that generates a strong connection between the industrial identity of this land and the people of the world.
